Overview

A camera trap is a stand-alone motion-triggered, rugged, and weatherproof cellular camera that is ideal for deployment in harsh environments for security and monitoring purposes.

The preferred camera trap is the Spartan GoCam 4G with Black flash. This device uses a SIM card for wireless transmission and operates primarily on 4G. If no 4G is available, it will still work on 3G and 2G signals. Users must ensure they have cell service in the area where they plan to use the camera. The Camera Trap is pre-configured to send images to HYDRA. HYDRA can integrate with camera traps that have the ability to send an email notification with the image attached to the email, or that has an API.
